jack-keyboard software package provides Virtual MIDI keyboard for JACK MIDI, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install jack-keyboard
jack-keyboard is installed in your system.
Make ensure the jack-keyboard package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep jack-keyboard *
You will get with jack-keyboard package name, version, architecture and description in a table
